Life can get a bit hectic and we all can get caught up in routine, expectations, and responsibilities. This weekend aims not only to slow us down and break the monotony of life, but more importantly we will be creating space for self-reflection and inquiry. We will dive into a depth of yoga practice & meditation while discovering the courage to have a look at how we contribute to everything that does not seem to be going ‘right’ in our lives and our society. Together as a community we will create a space of stillness and fan the flame of Introspection
While we do understand that sometimes it is necessary to ‘let loose’ and ‘check out,’ - if what your hoping to do is lie on the beach and sip a few this probably is not what your looking for.

There will be a morning session and an afternoon session at the Imperial Rooms, Matlock where Troy will be taking us through two of his main workshop themes:
Morning session 10am to 12 Midday £30 per person or £50 for both sessions per person (non-refundable)
Have you ever wondered what makes Yoga a spiritual practice? What about the practice of life? Our disconnected manner of living has also entered our yoga practice, and it is now time to bring the Magic back. In this workshop Troy will share some of his most transformative moments on and off his mat and explain how they connected some of the dots between, his life, his spiritual beliefs’, and his practice. We will ask ourselves some truly fundamental questions and spend time looking at the anatomy of the breath and our relationship to it. Together, we move through a powerful breath-focused vinyasa practice and begin to reconnect the dots towards a deeper relationship to our practice, our life, and Spirit; A relationship where Magic is real and cannot be denied. (2 hrs | 90 min practice, 30 min lecture)

Re-connecting to Spirit
In a world where there is so much emphasis on what divides us we will use our Asana practice to re-connect to the powers that unite us. Through slow, mindful movement we create a new relationship to breath and Spirit while asking the question, “What truly is Yoga? & More importantly, how do we create it?” You can expect a challenging and grounded vinyasa practice that holds the relationship to breath as its foundation. This all-level practices will leave you frustrated or humbled at times, powerful and strong, or deeply moved and inspired as we create the Space for Spirit to move through not just our practice, but our lives. We will aim to understand that it is not enough merely to inhale and exhale, much like it is not enough to simply take the shape of a posture; but that the deeper power lies in being present to our relationship to the practice, the posture, and the breath. This class encourages self-reflection & self –discovery; be prepared to take the long journey back to you. (2 hrs).
