About This Immersion
What’s seems to be happening in the world of yoga today is that we are allowing our lives and our world to influence our practice more than our practice influence our world. Vinyasa practice is therefore taking on a shape that is fast, disconnected, and simply missing a depth of relationship. It is time to bring it back home to the art of observation, and listening.
In this 5-day immersion the intention is to reconnect to a depth of practice that revolves around an intimate relationship with ourselves & the world around us. By slowing down our practice, extending our breath, and making every movement more deliberate we not only shape a practice that is physically stronger, but also reconnect to the transformation found through listening.
A days activities would generally begin with silent walks and meditation followed by pranayama and Asana practice. After some hours of leisure and free time to enjoy the natural surroundings and hammock-time we will meet again in the afternoon. These afternoon sessions may vary in structure or intensity but would get you out just in time for a sunset dip in the ocean.
` This immersion is designed to assist you in discovering a deeper and more powerful relationship to your practice both on and off the mat. While it is an all level immersion some level of experience In practicing Vinyasa yoga is required.
